The Seagate Skyhawk and Barracuda are designed for different purposes. The Skyhawk is optimized for surveillance systems, with features like enhanced reliability and workload management, making it better suited for continuous recording and playback. On the other hand, the Barracuda is a general-purpose drive, offering high performance and storage capacity for everyday computing needs. So, whether the Skyhawk is better than the Barracuda depends on the specific use case and requirements of the user. **

The Seagate 1TB Expansion Portable hard drive may not be working due to a variety of reasons such as a faulty USB cable, a damaged port on the hard drive or computer, a corrupted file system, or a malfunctioning drive. It could also be due to compatibility issues with the operating system or driver conflicts. Troubleshooting steps such as trying a different USB port, using a different cable, checking for driver updates, or running disk repair tools may help identify and resolve the issue. If the problem persists, contacting Seagate customer support for further assistance may be necessary. **

Whether 1TB is sufficient depends on your specific needs. For the average user, 1TB is typically more than enough storage space for storing documents, photos, videos, and other files. However, if you work with large files, such as high-resolution videos or extensive databases, you may find that 1TB is not sufficient. In that case, you may want to consider upgrading to a larger storage capacity. **

Yes, 1TB is considered a large amount of storage. It is equivalent to 1,000 gigabytes, which can hold a significant amount of data, such as thousands of high-resolution photos, hundreds of hours of HD video, or hundreds of thousands of documents. For most personal and even some professional use cases, 1TB is more than enough storage space. However, for certain specialized applications or large-scale data storage needs, 1TB may not be considered a lot. **

Seagate hard drives have received mixed reviews from users. While some people have had positive experiences with Seagate drives in terms of performance and reliability, others have reported issues such as drive failures and data loss. It is important to note that all hard drive brands can have their own set of problems, and it ultimately depends on individual experiences and preferences. Conducting thorough research and considering factors such as warranty, customer support, and user feedback can help in making an informed decision when choosing a hard drive. **

Without more information or details about the specific issue with the Seagate external hard drive, it is difficult to determine if it is broken. Common signs of a broken external hard drive include unusual noises, failure to power on, or inability to access data. It is recommended to troubleshoot the device by trying different cables, ports, or connecting it to another computer to see if the issue persists before concluding that it is broken. If the problem persists, contacting Seagate customer support or a professional technician for further assistance may be necessary. **

The Seagate hard drive may be beeping due to a mechanical failure, such as a malfunctioning motor or read/write head. It could also be a sign of a power issue, such as a failing power supply or insufficient power being supplied to the drive. Additionally, the beeping could indicate a problem with the drive's firmware or software. It is important to diagnose the issue promptly to prevent data loss and further damage to the hard drive. **

If you only have two 1TB drives, you can combine them into a single 2TB drive using a process called RAID 0 (Redundant Array of Independent Disks). This process involves combining the storage capacity of both drives to create a larger, single volume. However, it's important to note that RAID 0 does not provide any data redundancy or fault tolerance, so if one drive fails, you could lose all of your data. It's also important to backup your data regularly, as RAID 0 does not provide any data protection. **
